WHAT IS WELLNESS COACHING?

The short answer is: My wellness coaching clients work with me one-one-one to improve their health, reach their fitness goals, and work on having a positive, loving mindset around food, exercise, and their bodies. For more information, check of the “About” page!

WHAT IS BODY POSITIVITY?

Body positivity is a word that describes having a positive attitude about your body, not matter what. Body positivity eliminates guilt, shame, disgust, blame, and punishment from the conversation about health and fitness. Body positivity is the key to accepting and loving your body just the way it is, even when you are working on changing something about it. This means that changes are made from a place of love and self-care!

CAN YOU HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT/BODY FAT?

Absolutely! Many of my clients end up losing weight as a consequence of the mindset and behavior changes that they make during coaching. However, this only applies to bodies that can lose weight in a healthy way. This means that if you are already generally healthy, but you want to lose that “last 10 lbs.” to achieve a certain aesthetic, it may not happen. For many people, especially women, a very lean physique can cause a lot of problems including infertility, and hormone disregulation. Plus, getting to this point often requires extremely strict dieting and exercising, both of which can be harmful to both physical and mental health. I am in the business of improving health, not damaging it!

WILL YOU WRITE ME A MEAL PLAN?

Maybe! It depends on what we decide together in the wellness consultation. Depending on your personality and goals, a meal plan may or may not be appropriate. I will absolutely help you with nutrition related issues, but a meal plan is not always the most effective solution.

WILL YOU WRITE ME A WORKOUT PLAN?

Maybe! Just like with the meal plans, a workout plan may or may not benefit you depeding on your goals and personality. During the wellness consultation, we will talk about what stratagies will benefit you most in reaching your health and wellness goals.
